COMMUNITYGROUPS

Our mission statement at Gardena Valley Baptist Church is "helping people discover Jesus and become His fully devoted followers." We believe this best happens in the context of genuine, loving relationships. Community provides us with regular opportunities to reflect on God's word, be held accountable in our obedience to Christ, journey with others through daily life, and serve alongside each other in both our church and world.

So check out the following “open” groups and contact Pastor Daniel at (310) 344-3668 or daniel@gvbc.net for more information or to sign up! If you’d like to join a group but don’t see one that fits your needs or your schedule, contact Pastor Daniel and we’ll work with you to get connected with the Body of Christ at GVBC!

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25

Re|Engage

Re|Engage is the name for GVBC's marriage program that over 70 couples have been through at GVBC, covering topics that include humility, forgiveness, communication, and conflict.  Not only does it open up communication between you as a couple, but you learn together with other couples as you build relationships within your small group.

Re|Focus

Re|Focus is a 9-session program that is based on Familylife's "Art of Parenting" curriculum, which will equip you to guide your children in forming character, applying discipline, building relationships, and preparing them for their God-given mission!  We have limited capacity as we get this program off the ground, so if you're interested you'll need to sign up quickly before spots run out.

Community Groups

We believe that all GVBCers need to be in a midweek community group in order to grow in Christ alongside other believers. Check out the various groups available for men, women, young adults, and more.
