About THE BRIDGE:
THE BRIDGE continuously brings music to the disaster-affected areas in Japan for the "emotional recovery" of those impacted by the earthquakes.
Paul M. (Piano)
A Korean pianist who loves Japan with a 10-year career in K-POP. He was deeply shocked by the news of the Great East Japan Earthquake seen in Korea. Since June 2013, he has visited the disaster-stricken areas almost every month. Inspired by this, he has held concerts throughout Japan, continually offering profound comfort. He is the representative of THE BRIDGE, a Kunitachi College of Music graduate, and a producer at Paul’s Desk. He is also the leader of the Japan-Korea joint big band, THE BRIDGE orchestra.
Gwangsig Park (Sax)
A top-level saxophonist in South Korea. He has supported major artists such as Lee Hyori and has been responsible for music in TV commercials, movies, dramas, and variety shows. He has released two solo saxophone albums, both of
which reached number one on the jazz charts in South Korea. He has held solo concerts and invited performances in over 30 countries, including the United States and Australia. The Peace Concert, which he planned and executed, was
broadcast live by the BBC and CNN.
Sho Ichikawa (Bass)
He started playing the bass guitar at the age of 14. While studying at Berklee College of Music, he obtained an artist visa and performed mainly on the East Coast. He is currently a pastor.
Yong Hoon Lim (Drum)
Contracted artist for Pearl, Zildjian, REMO, and Vic Firth. Supporting major artists such as K-POP JYJ and Yesung (Super Junior). Performed on many music programs on the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS, MBC). Released two solo albums, “Dark&Light” and “New Way”.Lecturer at Seoul Sinhak University, Dong-Ah Open University, International University of Arts, and representative of Free Groove Drum Academy.
