Simulcast of Promise Keeper’s 2021 Men’s Conference from Dallas Stadium Saturday July 17th, 8 am to 3 pm, at GVBC

Dear GVBC Men,

The GVBC Men’s Ministry is excited to invite you to our first in-person event in a long time.

On Saturday July 17th, we’ll be gathering at GVBC to watch a simulcast of Promise Keeper’s big event for 2021…a gathering of an anticipated 80,000 men from Dallas Stadium.

It will be a wonderful chance to take part in this event…to worship our Lord, to be challenged to rise up and “stand strong” in our faith, and to grow with our Lord and each other.

Promise Keepers was founded in 1990 by Bill McCartney, then head football coach at Colorado University.

Promise Keepers describes its goal as "to bring about revival through a global movement that calls men back to courageous, bold, leadership. We will be the spark that calls men back to God’s Word, sharing their faith and caring for the poor and oppressed throughout the world."

Back in the day, Promise Keepers held big men’s events like this reaching hundreds of thousands of men all across the US. Some of our GVBC men even went to Washington DC with close to one million men to seek God and worship Him at the National Mall.

Some of our GVBCers who’ve attended these events described them this way…

“Awesome having tens of thousands of men worshipping the Lord. All races, all denominations, one Lord. Very challenging, great messages, great call to step up for the Lord.”

Maybe some of you men have also attended past Promise Keeper’s events. So you know how powerful and life changing they are.

We’d like you to join us. This is also a great opportunity to invite a friend you’re discipling or witnessing to, as there will be an altar call.

To do so, you and any friends need to sign up with Promise Keepers and pay a $20 fee. Your fee will include lunch. Promise Keepers will send $10 of that back to GVBC.

Don’t worry if it says the GVBC simulcast is Friday Night and Saturday.

Our event at GVBC will be only Saturday starting at 8 am on July 17th.
