Citylights Church, under the leadership of Pastor Tom Demorest, remain faithful in representing Christ in the neighborhood of downtown Long Beach. Praise God for how He is at work in Sunday services, weekly Bible Studies, and the monthly Bless the Block ministry.
Pastor Tom is excited about changes coming this year to Citylights, as they will be installing a new co-pastor, new worship leader, and people to the leadership team. They know that God has wonderful plans in store in the midst of changes, for His glory in Long Beach.
Citylights has hosted our GVBC Youth Long Beach Missions Project in the summer. We are thankful for Pastor Tom’s teaching at the GVBC All-Church Retreat that was held in August 2023.
